Role Description - Part-time Fulfilment Officer
Make My Shave is seeking a part-time Fulfilment Officer to join our team. This is an on-site role based at our Fulfilment Centre in Miami, Queensland. As Fulfilment Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient processing, packaging and dispatch of our customer orders. The role is ideal for someone with excellent attention to detail, good communication skills, and a positive self-starter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Shopify orders
- Prepare and pack customer orders with exceptional attention to detail
- Handle distribution tasks
- General auxiliary duties including housekeeping of fulfilment and production areas
- Manage inventory levels, stock takes and order necessary supplies
- Strong commercial acumen and high attention to detail
- Exceptional time management and organisation
- From time to time, additional administrative and customer service duties may be required
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience in a fulfilment or warehouse role is preferred, but not essential
- Proficiency with computers and experience with Google Suite/GDrive
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and carry boxes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Positive attitude with self-management abilities
- Experience with Shopify is preferred, but not essential
- Strong English-speaking and writing skills
The successful candidate will:
- Be detail-oriented, organised and proactive
- Be reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
- Have a problem-solving approach and positive attitude
Hours and Remuneration:
- Part-time, approx 8 - 10 hours per week
- Hours can be somewhat flexible, spread across 2 or 3 days per week.
- No weekend work
- $30 per hour
Contractor Details / Essentials:
- Must have an ABN (Australian Business Number)
- Must be fluent in English
- This role requires a valid driver's licence and a car
